Darko Fidanoski

Darko Fidanoski is a co-founder of Ars Lamina, Macedonia’s biggest publishing company, as well as of Pointer Creative Agency and Literatura.mk. He has been working in the graphic design, graphics industry and publishing sectors since his high-school days. He was graphic editor of the high-school magazine “Vizija”, followed by a position as editor-in-chief of the first Macedonian IT magazine “Pointer”.

After his student days at the Faculty of Natural Sciences – Informatics, in 2002 he founded his first company Pointer, a creative and advertising agency. Here he worked on various advertising campaigns for the automotive, entertainment, IT and food industry, as well as on identity, branding and product designs. He is especially proud for being the designer of the logo of The Ministry of Defense and the Order of Military Merit of the Republic of Macedonia.

In 2005 he decided to embrace a new challenge and started working on a project in the graphics industry which triggered the foundation of Ars Lamina. Soon the company expanded its operations in the publishing and educational sectors. Now employing about 50 people, Ars Lamina has been part of the 200 most successful companies in Macedonia for five years in a row.

Darko Fidanoski is a board member of the Macedonian Association of Publishers and a member of Rotary International.
