Elena is one of the rare “ladies” in beekeeping, even though all bees in the hive are “ladies” (50,000 in one hive). Establishing Macedonian Honey from its original concept, Elena strongly believes that Beekeeping isn’t just a way of finding a new home for the rapidly disappearing insects, but a way of better understanding the very environment in which we live.
Since its foundation, Macedonian Honey invented the Elle-Hive™ – first Macedonian hive that conforms to the natural habits of the bees and makes work of the beekeeper easier. They are national winners as socially responsible company attending IRP Program in Vienna, Representing Macedonia Startup community at Global Entrepreneurship Week and the most prestigious award – European winner in category “Climate” at the Startup Europe Awards, in competition with all companies from all over Europe.
Elena is also the founder of “International BeeStation”, a platform that goes under the Macedonian Honey brand. This is a platform where international supporters and fans from the whole world have one mission, to fight bee decline and make our planet great again!
