Laze Pejoski has extensive experience in economics, public policy, and law. He has worked across a number of Australian Government agencies advising the Prime Minister, the Treasurer or Finance Minister and the Immigration Minister on fiscal strategy, economic forecasts, and projections, international macroeconomics, and finance, as well as population policy and demographic modeling. In addition, Laze has worked in the private sector as a senior economic consultant where he has provided health economics, government revenue forecasting, and modeling, retail sector analysis, and fiscal policy and modeling for peak industry associations, large corporations in the mining, defense, and financial industries, as well as the non-profit sector and non-government organizations.
Most recently Laze is helping lead efforts to establish the policy function for an entity within the Saudi Arabian Government as well as providing the whole of government policy and capacity building advice focused on global economy and international relations issues. This includes leading teams and engaging with stakeholders such as international organizations, the private sector, and academics. Laze has further worked in private sector legal firms focusing on employment and commercial law. Laze holds postgraduate qualifications in both economics and law and is passionate about improving public policy outcomes.
