Dr. Venko Filipce (Skopje, 1977), graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Skopje in 2001, started specialization in neurosurgery in 2003 and completed it in 2008. He was elected as an assistant at the Medical Faculty in Skopje in 2004, received a Master’s Degree in 2011 and a Ph.D. in 2015. In 2017 he was also elected as Assistant Professor at the Medical Faculty.
He did specializations in neurosurgical centers in Graz, Belgrade, Dayton, Columbus, Istanbul, Zurich. In 2012 he completed a fellowship in interventional neuroradiology, becoming the first neurosurgeon in the surrounding countries to establish the hybrid neurosurgery at the Clinic in Skopje.
He has published many domestic and foreign magazines in the field of neurosurgery. He is Secretary of the Macedonian Neurosurgeon Association and the Association of Neurosurgeons of South East Europe.
He was invited for a lecturer at congresses organized by various associations in the field of medicine and neurosurgery in Europe and the world. He is married and has one son.
