International Labour Organization
Emil Krstanovski is the National coordinator of the International Labour Organization for Macedonia from 2009. He is the organization’s representative in the relations with the government, the unions as well as the organizations of employers and he is responsible for supporting the implementation of the Decent Work Agenda. He is a member of the United Nations Team in Macedonia. Previously, he worked for the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy in the field of labor law, employment policies and social dialogue.
He was born in 1978 in Bitola, Macedonia and has a Degree in Political Science obtained from the Law School at UKIM University in Skopje, Macedonia.
The International Labour Organiztion is the only tripartisan agency of the United Nations which from 1919 has been implementing labour standards, developing policies as well as creating programs for improving the possibilities of men and women to obtain decent and productive work in an environment of freedom, equality, safety and human dignity.
